Rockland Park is a community with an edge: its streets run level along Rockland Park Drive NW until the land stops at the Bow River bluff and the Bow valley opens below the rim. Operations run under an Advanced RPAS certificate, and a NAV CANADA RPAS authorisation is obtained wherever the specific site calls for one. On the ground. City of Calgary bylaws restrict takeoff and landing on municipal park land, so launches stage from private property — in a building community, usually the client's own site — with consent. About 25 minutes from the Calgary base. Tuscany, Royal Oak and Crestmont adjoin, and Cochrane is a short run further west — pairing communities shares the mobilisation.
