Commissions

A client is not buying hours of someone holding a camera. They are buying a finished visual world. So we quote the commission — never the hour — and every project is scoped individually against a written brief.

How a quote is structured

Creative fee
Concept, direction and pre-production.
Production
Shoot days, crew and equipment on location.
Post-production
Editing, colour, sound, retouching and finishing.
Usage and licensing
Where the work is used, and for how long, where applicable.
Expenses
Travel, accommodation, permits and any specialist hire, at cost.

What a full commission can include

One creative direction, delivered across every format it will live in — a visual asset system rather than a set of files.

How a project runs

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand the person, the property, the brand and the audience it is for.

  2. 02

    Define

Establish the visual concept: mood, light, story, movement, colour, references.

  3. 03

    Direct

Plan the scenes rather than simply arriving with cameras.

  4. 04

    Capture

    Photography, film, aerial, sound, details.

  5. 05

    Form

Editing, retouching, colour, sound, sequence. This is where atoms become a whole.

  6. 06

    Deliver

The final collection across every required format, in a single visual language.

Beyond Alberta

Commissions travel. Outside the home territory the client covers expenses at cost; the fee covers the work.

The fee covers

  • Creative direction and pre-production
  • Shoot days on site
  • Post-production, colour and sound
  • Digital delivery of the finished collection

The client covers

  • Return airfare from Calgary for the crew
  • Accommodation for every night on the ground
  • Ground transport at the destination
  • Local flight permits and airspace authorisations
  • Any destination-specific insurance rider
  • Equipment shipping or excess-baggage fees where the kit cannot fly as carry-on
