Among the Pines

Land does not photograph the way it stands. One vantage from above the canopy registers scale and the snowline; one low pass through the trunks at human height registers the quiet. The first frame says where you are. The second says what it feels like to be there.
Two passes on a single early-spring evening. No music swell, no quick cuts — the camera held long enough for the place to do the work.

Through the trunks, at dusk.
