Deer Ridge's street pattern bends around the park rather than through it — Deerpath Road SE and Deercrest Way SE curl along the Fish Creek Provincial Park edge, so from above the community reads as rooflines wrapped around a forest. The park-backing lots are the premium here, and ground photography reduces that premium to a back fence — the forest behind it, the reason for the price, is invisible.

Takeoff and landing inside City of Calgary parks is restricted by municipal bylaw, and Fish Creek Provincial Park has its own drone restrictions, so launches stage from private property with the client's consent.
