In autumn the street trees along Prestwick Boulevard and Elgin Boulevard turn before the lawns fade, and for those few weeks the community's plan draws itself from the air — tree-lined boulevards in colour, converging on High Street. The plan is what McKenzie Towne sells, and a shoot flown in flat mid-winter or high summer loses it — the boulevards blend into the rooftops and the community photographs like any subdivision around it.

Where the calendar allows, the flight is timed to that turn, with an elevated frame down the boulevard toward the High Street Shops — delivered on the turnaround agreed at booking.

Light. Boulevard leaf-out through the autumn turn is the flattering window; Inverness Pond holds open water between spring and freeze-up and reads as a white oval in winter.
