On the ground. Takeoff and landing on Sagewood's municipal land — parks, pathways and the waterway edges — is governed by City of Airdrie rules, so launches stage from private property with the owner's permission. About 30 minutes north of the Calgary base on the city's northwest side — an easy pairing with Luxstone or Bayside, and with Crossfield if the run continues north.
