Almost the only sculpted ground in Chestermere belongs to Lakeside Greens Golf Course — its mounds, swales and water hazards are relief that was built, not inherited, in a town that is otherwise level. Flat ground dies under high sun: shot at midday, a fairway-backing home loses the contours behind it and the course reads as plain lawn, taking the property's premium out of the frame.

A low-sun orbit rakes light across the shaped ground so the mounding throws shadow and the hazards read as water — a golden-hour hold that puts the course's geometry behind the house, delivered on the turnaround agreed at booking.
